ウィリアム・チュン博士と太田義孝博士（両ネレウス共同統括）は、パリで開催された科学会議 Our Common Future under Climate Change に参加し、気候変動が海洋生態系と漁業に及ぼす影響についてネレウスプログラムで発見したことを発表した。７月７日から１０日にかけて開催されたこの会議には、１００カ国から２０００人近くが参加し、気候変動に関する科学的知見に基づきあらゆる側面から議論した。
