Nereus Fellow at Duke Daniel Dunn will be attending the Sustainable Ocean Initiative (SOI) Global Dialogue with Regional Seas Organizations and Regional Fisheries Bodies on Accelerating Progress Towards the Aichi Biodiversity Targets.
This meeting has several objectives, including: to enhance the sharing of scientific information between regional seas organizations and regional fisheries bodies; to exchange experiences and expertise in regionally applying tool and approaches to conservation and sustainability; to exchange knowledge and experiences on the development and application of regional-scale indicators in support of the objectives of respective regional organizations; and to identify the lessons learned in cooperation between regional seas organizations and regional fisheries bodies.
