William Cheung travels to Tokyo for panel on science and policy

William Cheung, Co-Director of the Nereus Program and Associate Professor at the UBC Fisheries Centre, was an invited speaker at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy on April 15. Cheung and his colleague, Masahiro Matsura of the University of Tokyo, presented on their work with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). They participated in an international panel discussion and used the Nereus Program as a case study for how science should inform policy.
