Nereus workshop: Adaptation strategies for Pacific Island nation fisheries, Monterey

The Nereus Program organized a workshop with the Center for Ocean Solutions and the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS) called “Integrating climate change and small scale fisheries: Impact shocks and responses.”

The workshop looked at the importance of fisheries to Pacific Island nations and adaptation strategies to climate change and was held in Monterey, California, USA, from June 7 to 10, 2016.

Among the attendees were Nereus Directors Yoshitaka Ota and William Cheung with Fellows Andrés Cisneros-Montemayor (UBC), Gabriel Reygondeau (UBC), and Rebecca Asch (Princeton).
