Nereus Fellow Richard Caddell (UBC) will be attending the workshop “Natural Marine Resource Management in a Changing Climate”, jointly hosted by the K.G. Jebsen Centre for the Law of the Sea and the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at the University of Tromsø in Norway. The workshop aims to address the shortcomings of current legal and policy management systems in light of global climate change, and discuss alternative models and the further development of existing policies and processes. The workshop will highlight recommendations and statements of interest from lawyers, scientists, professors, and researchers with a background in law, political science and environmental economics.
