Nereus Director of Science William Cheung gave a keynote entitled “Applying macroecology to project future marine ecosystems under climate change” at the British Ecological Society’s Aquatic Macroecology Meeting in London on September 30, 2016.
The meeting focused on the integration of macroecological approaches into the study of aquatic ecosystems, given that predictions about aquatic ecosystems require a deep knowledge of patterns and processes at different scales, and most existing knowledge comes from smaller scale studies.
