Yoshi Ota contributes on marine productivity and socio-ecosystem

Yoshi Ota, Nereus Program Co-Director at the University of British Columbia, has contributed a chapter in a book titled Ceccaldi et al (ed) Marine Productivity: Perturbations and Resilience of Socio-Ecosystems. Ota is the co-author of “Reviving the Seto Inland Sea, Japan: Applying the Principles of Satoumi for Marine Ranching Project in Okayama,” a paper that explains the effect of recreating a hydrological cycle that mirrors natural nutrient flow by connecting these networks to local freshwater systems.
