William Cheung, Director of the Nereus Program (Science) and Principle Investigator, recently presented Nereus Program work at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Workshop on Regional Climate Projections and their Use in Impacts and Risk Analysis Studies, held at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espacias, Brazil from September 15-18.
The poster titled “Projecting global and regional marine fisheries catches in the 21st century” presented findings from his latest research collaborating with Thomas Froelicher, Nereus Alumni (Princeton), Charles Stock, Nereus Principal Investigator (NOAA), Jorge Sarmiento, Nereus Principal Investigator (Princeton), Gabriel Reygondeau, Nereus Fellow (UBC), and Miranda Jones, Nereus Alumni (UNEP-WCMC), on exploring confidence and uncertainties on projecting future fisheries catches under climate change.
