レベッカ・アッシュ博士は、3月23日から27日にかけて開かれたNorth Pacific Marine Science Organization (PICES)主催による第3回国際シンポジウム-気候変動における世界 の海洋への影響−Third International Symposium on the Effects of Climate Change on the World’s Oceansに招待され、彼女の講演「Projected mismatches between the phenology of phytoplankton blooms and fish spawning based on the GFDL Earth System Model (ESM2M)」 を行った。アッシュ博士はこの発表によって、若手に送られる賞であるBest Early Career Presentationを受賞した。
