Conference theme – 1970-2050: 80 Years for Fisheries
This conference, held in celebration of the 1000th graduate of the agronomy-fisheries science programme at Agrocampus Ouest, explores both the past and future of the fisheries sector, with perspectives from state and European institutions, fishing companies, NGOs, consulting companies, researchers, agri-food companies, and energy companies. Nereus Fellow at UBC Mathieu Colléter will be participating in the roundtable discussion “From Targeted Stocks to Ecosystems”, bringing his expertise in ecosystem impacts of fisheries, ecosystem modelling, and indices for an ecosystems approach to fisheries and climate change.
